A WOMAN has been seriously injured after her car crashed into a tree in the early hours of this morning (Sunday).
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident on the A3066 at School Hill, North Perrot, near Crewkerne, at about 2.50am.
The 18-year-old woman suffered serious injuries to her arms, leg and head in the crash involving her Suzuki Swift car.
She was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital for treatment. Police say her condition is not believed to be life-threatening.
Police want to trace the occupants of a vehicle which passed the scene and who stopped at a nearby house to raise the alarm.
