A HIGHBRIDGE man facing allegations of dangerous driving after an alleged hit and run in Crewkerne failed to attend court.
Luke Adey, 23 of Poplar Estate in Highbridge failed to attend his pre trial hearing at Taunton Crown Court yesterday (July 3).
Adey was charged on October 2 after he drove a BMW car dangerously on South Street in Crewkerne while he was disqualified from driving and without insurance.
He was also charged with driving a vehicle where an accident occurred and personal injury was caused to another person and he failed to stop.
It was also alleged that Adey knowingly took the BMW without the owner’s consent, he drove it and caused damage to the vehicle and railings at the Masonic Lodge in Crewkerne.
Judge David Evans issued a warrant for Adey's arrest.
