A CREWKERNE man is still missing three days after he was spotted in near Chard.

Avon and Somerset police has renewed its appeal for information about missing Tyrone Adams, 48.

Mr Adams has been missing from the Chubbs Lawn area since 9.15pm on June 1.

He was seen near to The George public house in Crewkerne when he said he would return home but he did not turn up.

He was subquently sighted in the Yarcombe area of Chard at 4pm on June 4.

A police spokesman said: "Concern is growing for Tyrone who is known to be depressed.

"He is described as a white male, with brown, greying hair, wearing a grey t-shirt and blue jeans.

"He has links to Crewkerne, Yeovil, Wellington, Taunton and Bridgwater.

"We’re keen for Tyrone, or anyone spotting him, to call us."

A member of Mr Adams' family added: "He may have gone to Dorchester because he's always wanted to live there, but he has ties to Bridgwater and Taunton but lives in Yeovil. At the time he went missing he was in Crewkerne."
