A DRIVER who failed to stop after being in a crash with a cyclist near Crewkerne is being hunted by police.

The crash happened at around 7pm on Tuesday, 16 August on the A30 at East Chinnock.

A spokesman for the police said: "A black Vauxhall Corsa with the registration beginning WX65 or WV65 was in collision with a cyclist travelling in the direction of Crewkerne.

"The driver of the Corsa failed to stop following the incident in which the cyclist came off his bike, sustaining minor injuries.

"We are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident who may have information which could help our inquiry."
