YEAR 11 students said an emotional goodbye to Wadham Community School, Crewkerne, as they marked the end of their final school year.
Students held a Dress Your Best day on May 16 to mark the end of lessons and the start of the GCSE exam period.
After being photographed in their smartest clothes, the students assembled in the school hall where they were joined for part of the morning by school governors, family and friends.
Stuart Shepherd, chair of governors, gave each student their progress file before awards were presented.
Mike Tyler received a special award for 100% attendance over three years, while Melissa Mitchell and Jess Searle shared the prize for best progress file.
Student council representatives also received certificates and head teacher's commendations were given for work in textiles and colours were awarded to the rounders team.
