The family of a Crewkerne man whose body was found in a bus shelter have released a statement today.

Daniel Dare's body was found on Sunday morning on Vicarage Road, Wookey.

The statement from his family said: "At this time as a family we would just like to say how devastated we are at the loss of our son and would like to be left to grieve on our own.

"Thank you for all of your kind wishes."

Avon and Somerset Police yesterday named the Crewkerne man, who was discovered on Sunday morning shortly before 9am.
