CREWKERNE dentist Dr Ahmad Nounu is certainly smiling brightly after being shortlisted for the National Dentistry Awards 2015 in the category of Best Young Dentist.
The 2015 Dentistry Awards, one of the most anticipated events in the dental calendar, is designed specifically to reward and recognise regional excellence in UK dentistry.
These awards recognize outstanding individuals and teams who are at the top of their profession and who continually raise the standards within general dentistry.
Dr Nounu, one of the youngest and most highly qualified dentists in the country, is the practice principal and director of Black Swan Dental Spa based in Crewkerne.
Dr Nounu said: “I am absolutely thrilled to have been shortlisted for the National Dentistry Awards.
“It is a real honour, but I couldn’t have achieved this without the support of my excellent practice team.
“We’ve worked incredibly hard to offer clients a relaxing pain free dental experience and to have this recognised nationally is a huge achievement for us all.”
The National Dentistry Awards Ceremony will take place on Friday, November 27, 2015, in Leicester.
Dr Nounu might be up for the Best Young Dentist award, but he has already got a growing reputation as one of the best in the business.
He sits on the committees for the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the local British Dental Association, while in 2013 he was named in Private Dentistry magazine’s Elite Top 20 UK Dentists.
More recently he was one of the cosmetic dental experts on Sky TV’s My Face, My Body show.
