Fire fighters free three youngsters trapped in Crewkerne supermarket lift
Fire engines from Crewkerne and Yeovil were sent to reports of three young people trapped in a lift in Crewkerne earlier today.
Crews attended the incident at Waitrose on South Street at 12.10pm.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "On arrival of the first appliance, the office in charge confirmed there were young people trapped in the lift, and they were promptly released by fire crews."
The Yeovil fire appliance was stood down as it was not required.
