ART teacher Kate Lynch has been working with children in Barrington and Ilton in order to blossom the youngsters' artistic talent.
Kate has been working with the St Mary and St Peter's School bases at Barrington and Ilton alongside the National Trust's Barrington Court property to produce a memorable and permanent work of art.
The project will see children document the work, plants and processes that occur in the kitchen garden and orchards at Barrington Court over the four seasons.
It ties in with Plot to Plate - which is the children from the schools seed sowing, harvesting and eating vegetables from the kitchen garden.
The project will last a year and the finished paintings will be a timeless reminder of the work that goes on at Barrington Court with locally produced food.
The first panel has now been completed and is fantastic - colourful, informative and very accurately done by 30 schoolchildren with guidance from Kate.
