CHARD Independent School got into the carnival spirit on Friday with their very own samba band.
The percussion-playing pupils took part in a music workshop held by professional musician Darren Coleman and then performed for parents and schoolmates.
The youngsters also made cakes which they sold during the concert to raise money for their upcoming show Aristrocats, due to be performed at the end of June.
