AT the Chard Gardening Club meeting held on April 10, 34 members visited Sanders Garden World, and purchase a good selection of plants and merchandise.
Later this year, on Sunday, July 13, members will be going to Hidcote Manor Gardens in Gloucestershire, a National Trust property. Anyone not a member of the club who would like to go should please call 01460-61407 to be considered for spare seats.

The next meeting is on Thursday, May 8, and will be the 16th anniversary meeting. There will be a talk entitled Glimpses across the Blackdowns' given by Mary-Joan Boyd, followed by a party with buffet. Meeting starts at 7.30pm in the English Martyrs Hall, Chard.
