8:50am Friday 3rd February 2012 in Chard
IT will be eyes down tomorrow (Saturday) for a fundraising bingo night in aid of a special Chard girl.
Chloe Willmington was born in April 2010 with Spina Bifida – a major defect to her spine – and two clubbed feet.
She has had two operations and is working hard on her walking.
Chloe’s parents, Tammy O’Dwyer and Neil Willmington, are trying to raise as much money as possible to help with their daughter’s physical development.
Although she has excellent upper leg strength, Chloe’s|lower legs are not as strong.
It is hoped a special tricycle will help strengthen her legs but the trike will cost about £1,000.
Neil and Tammy have organised the bingo night at Crowshute House on Saturday with eyes down at 7.15pm where they hope to raise cash towards the appeal.
A raffle has a host of great prizes including a Hetty from Numatic International, a giant cupcake from Absolutely Divine Cupcakes and a weekend away at Butlin’s Minehead, given by Traceys Caravans. Refreshments will be also available.
