Update: Ambulance crews called to Holyrood Street, Chard
TRAFFIC was brought to a standstill in Holyrood Street, Chard, this morning after ambulance crews were called to help an elderly resident.
The road was blocked between 9.30am and 10.00am while medical teams attended a property next to the Top Togs store.
The woman, in her nineties, was reportedly slipping in and out of consciousness.
She was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton.
