A CHARD man is desperate to get some of his prized model trains back after they were stolen from his home.
Train collector Patrick Giles of Fawcus Place was devastated after a number of models were stolen in the raid on September 4.
Some have been returned but a number are still outstanding and police want the public’s help to find them.
DC Jon Hooper of Yeovil CID said: “Infor-mation is requested as to where these trains may have been sold.
“It is possible that someone in the area has purchased these trains recently in good faith, not knowing where they had come from.”
Mr Giles added: “I’ve been collecting trains for a couple of years now and I’d just like them back and to help the police catch those responsible.”
Three people arrested in connection with the incident are on police bail.
Anyone with any information should contact DC Jon Hooper on 0845-456 7000.
