Christmas service in the Guildhall

CHARD Town Council and Chard Churches Together are once again joining forces to celebrate Christmas with a service in the Guildhall.

The service, ‘Jesus – The Gift of Hope’, is on Friday, December 12, at 6pm.

Children from Chard’s primary schools will be singing carols.

Admission is free but by ticket only as places are limited and are being allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tickets are available from the Tourist Information Centre in the Guildhall and from the Forefront Community Church in Fore Street, Chard. If the Forefront office is closed organisers ask that people leave a note stating how many tickets they would like and their address, so that tickets can be posted to them.

The service will last just over an hour and be followed by seasonal refreshments.
