Cabbie pins hopes on Easy Brick idea

CHARD cabbie Kev Wood is driving forward an invention he hopes will soon be seen in gardens across the country.

Kev has designed and registered the Easy Brick, which can be slotted together and used as a planter for flowers and shrubs."I came up with the idea years ago when I was in hospital but it has only been in the last two years when I've really worked on it," he said.Kev, a member of the Yeovil-based South West Inventors' Club, is having 5,000 bricks produced.He said: "I've scoured the internet and can't find anything like it."The Easy Brick, which looks like a large version of children's building bricks, can be used for other purposes, but will be marketed as a garden planter.
