ANIMAL lovers in Chard have an opportunity to learn the psychology behind their four-legged friends.
Chard Adult Learning and Leisure are holding an animal behaviour course, which covers all aspects of pet therapy, from domestication to how problems develop.
It is being run by qualified animal behaviourist Fiona Warstat, who has eight years experience as a veterinary nurse, working with practices in Surry and Somerset before specialising in pet behaviour counselling.
She said: "The course is aimed at anyone who has an interest in animals - pet owners, dog walkers, animal carers and welfare organisations - whether your focus is on dogs, cats, horses, rabbits or smaller animals."
