Spillers hands out top prize

CHARD firm Spillers presented a brand new range of kitchen equipment to a lucky woman from Somerset today.

Ruby Hurley, 83, from Taunton won a food mixer, a set of stainless steel saucepans and two tickets for a cookery demonstration at the AGA dealer in a prize draw run through our sister paper, the County Gazette.

Over 200 people entered the competition, which was drawn in January.

Ruby said: "When I found out I'd won I couldn't believe it.

"It's such a wonderful prize - I'll have to start inviting people round so I can cook for them!"
