WEB browsers in Chard, Ilminster and Crewkerne could help net the criminals with an open event for Avon and Somerset Constabulary's internet team.
The team is holding the open evening for candidates who may be interested in taking on the role of their new website programmer position.
The event is taking place tomorrow (Wednesday) from 6.30-7.30pm at Portishead Police HQ.
Scott Fulton, internet and multimedia manager for the force said: "This is an exciting opportunity for a website programmer specialising in .NET technologies to be part of our pioneering police team here at Police Headquarters in Portishead.
"The role will be varied and challenging, and will allow someone with the right skills to play a vital part in expanding our digital service to the residents of the Avon and Somerset Constabulary area."
He added: "The reason we are holding this open evening is for people who may not have considered a career with the police in a specialist role such as this, to see some of the work we have done and discuss what the job will offer them in terms of challenges and development opportunities."
Prospective candidates will need to register their attendance at the open evening in advance.
