Motorcyclist killed after tractor collision

A MOTORCYCLIST has died after colliding with a tractor and trailer in the Blackdown Hills yesterday (Thursday).

Police are appealing for witnesses after the man, thought to be 48, was travelling east along the Wrangway at Leigh Hill at around 6.40pm.

The motorcyclist was taken to the Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the tractor, a 21-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and was later released on police bail, pending further enquiries.
