Pensioners Forum info fair

THE Chard, Ilminster and Crewkerne Pensioners' Forum will be holding its third information fair at the Guildhall next month.

The pensioners' and carers' fair will be held on September 28 between 10am and 2.30pm.

Nearly 40 stall holders are booked so far for the fair and offers people an opportunity to meet members of local government and private organisations and allow them to get first-hand information on issues relevant to themselves.

Fair organiser, Janet Morgan, said: "On the day of the fair Ilminster's town crier, Jim Olds, will be promoting the event in Chard."

Last year's fair attracted 500 visitors and Janet is hoping to see that figure beaten this time around.
