Ladies are putting on a flower display

MEMBERS of the Chard Ladies Evening Guild will be putting on a flower festival on September 8-9.

Chard Museum in the High Street will be playing host to the event and all the arrangements will be the work of the Evening Guild ladies who are relishing the challenge of presenting their displays against such unusual backdrops.

The festival will be open between 11am and 3pm on each day and admission to the museum will be free - although any donation towards expenses would be welcomed.

The event is being sponsored by Pat Ives and family in memory of Roger and mum.
