Scouting celebrations

YOUNGSTERS at the 1st Chard Scout Group celebrated 100 years of scouting by holding a cream tea event.

The youngsters served tea and coffee to residents at Kent's Lane Sheltered Housing at Tatworth.

After the tea, the scouts helped clean up and sang camp songs with the residents.

The group would like to thank the residents for their donations, and to Georgina Stormont for helping with the arrangements.
