Youngsters get swinging

SPORTING youngsters at Chard Cricket Club under-10s enjoyed their annual end of season presentation evening on Saturday.

Trophies and certificates were awarded to Cory Slocombe, Chris Goodhew and Alfie Crump who was named most improved player.

Thanks go to coach Rob Hall and his wife Nikki - the youngsters thoroughly enjoyed the practice nights and match games.
