THE wait finally ended this morning (Thursday)- and the dreaded A-level envelopes brought smiles to the faces of hundreds of students at Holyrood Community School, Chard.

Head teacher Maurice Hicks praised the achievments of staff and students after the school achieved an A-level pass rate of over 99%.
