A MOTHER and daughters team will be trekking hard to raise money for premature babies at Yeovil Hospital next weekend.
Suzanna, Sophie and Becky Higgins of Chard, will be walking the 18 miles from the town to Yeovil on Sunday August 26.
The threesome decided to take on the challenge to help well-known Yeovil fundraisers, Flo and Jim Essex, reach their £6,000 target to provide a specially equip bed for the premature baby unit at the hospital.
They will be setting off at 10am and will finish when they reach Jim and Flo's home in West Coker Road, Yeovil.
Suzanna said: "We've had quite a bit of support from local companies who have donated all sorts of items, which we hope to raffle off to boost the funds.
"We've been training a bit - going for lots of walks in the country, but we'll have to wait and see how it goes."
To sponsor the team, call Suzanna on 01460-64244.
