Helping hand for creative talent

TIME is running out for people in Chard, Ilminster and Crewkerne to receive a helping hand to take up postgraduate study before entering the film or television industry.

South West Screen - the public agency leading strategic development and promotion of the film, TV and digital content sector in the South West - backs the Post Graduate Bursary Fund, which will make three awards of £3,000 each to talented students for whom cost might be a barrier to taking up a postgraduate media course.

The application deadline is 5pm on Friday, August 31.
