YOUNGSTERS and parents had some green thinking fun at Chard Guildhall on Friday with a ScrappyDappyDoodleDay.
The event, which was organised by Chard Methodist Church and supported by other town churches, featured a range of craft events following a green living theme.
Youngsters made robots, jewellery and even designed their own environmentally friendly cotton bags.
Representatives from the Somerset Waste Action Partnership (SWAP) were also on hand to offer advice and ahve some fun.
Rev Marilyn Tricker from Chard Methodist Church said: "The day was a joint effort between churches to hep get youngsters thinking about recycling.
"Gods earth is a precious one and we have got to look after it."
