Care home open day

PEOPLE in Chard will have a chance to look around Snowdon House in the town next Tuesday, August 18, as part of a free open day event.

The house is part of South Somerset Homes' extra care sheltered schemes and will be opening its doors from 10am-3pm.

Visitors will have an opportunity to speak with Angela Walsh, scheme manager, meet some of the residents, find out about some of the activities enjoyed by residents and tour the facilities.
