PEACOCKS have confirmed where they will be opening in Chard, and when the new shop is due to start trading in the town.
A spokesman for the chain has today confirmed to the Chard and Ilminster News their new branch's location.
They said: "It is the former Store Twenty One. We will be starting on site next Monday with shop fitting.
"We will be opening on Thursday, September 14."
Peacocks confirmed last Monday (July 24) that they would moving to the town after job adverts appeared for a new shop manager and assistant manager.
The job postings have appeared on a number of websites, including retailchoice.com.
Job adverts have also been posted online this week for positions at a Poundstretcher in Chard.
