BODY-WORN footage has been released following a video posted on social media of an incident in Yeovil.
Police were called at 5pm by the ambulance service to an incident in the town yesterday where a man was in a "mental health crisis".
Avon and Somerset Police officers took the decision to detain the man under the Mental Health Act.
Videos of the incident were posted on social media, just under a week after a different video of the force's actions went viral after an incident in Victoria Park, Taunton.

The force says the Professional Standards Department will be looking into the matter.
A spokesman said: "This decision is always taken to safeguard the individual from harming themselves and others.
"While we always act in the best interests of the person in crisis, there is sometimes a need for restrain to protect the person, our officers and members of the public.
"This man was taken to a mental health facility where he can receive the treatment he needs.
"The public rightly expects police officers to use force reasonably so we welcome their scrutiny.
"Our Professional Standards Department will now make their own enquiries into this matter."
