CHILDREN in Year 4, 5 and 6 at Chard School spent three action-packed days on Dartmoor last week.
The children took part in numerous team activities.
These included orienteering, crawling through granite rock piles, clambering across tors and building shelters in the woods.
The evenings were also busy, with a walk at twilight in the woods and a talent show to entertain everyone on the last night.
Mr Lucas, Maths and Science teacher, said “The children behaved excellently and they responded particularly well to the team challenges and are now great team players. Well done everyone on a memorable trip.”
