A MAN has been taken to hospital after being trapped under a tractor. 

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Crews were sent to The Triangle, Kingsbury Episcopi, Martock, around 9.30pm last night (May 13). 

The ambulance and air ambulance were also in attendance to free the man. 

Crews got to work setting up lighting and rescue equipment. 

The complex extraction of the injured male was completed using hydraulic cutting equipment, stab fast stabilising equipment, small tools, a tirfor winch and chocks. 

The casualty was then taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol by Air Ambulance with a leg and back injury.
