RESIDENTS and staff at Sunnymeade Care Home in Chard celebrated the Easter week by opening their doors to the public for a coffee and cake event.
The care home was open from 2pm to 4pm last Thursday.
Nicky Passant, manager at the Helliers Close home, said: “Thursday was the first time we have opened our doors in more than a year.
“We raised £60 and the residents loved it.”
