A CHARD woman has appeared at Somerset Magistrates accused of public order and assaulting a police constable.
Jade Jackson (also known as Shephard), 25, of Millfield was charged that on October 29, 2016 at Chard she assaulted a police constable acting in the execution of his duty.
She was also alleged to have used threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour likely to cause somebody harassment, alarm or distress.
The court heard that Jackson made admissions to the offences during interview and an agreement had been made that she would be cautioned.
The magistrates adjourned the case until April 27 to see if a caution has been administered by the police and for the case to be withdrawn.
