FREED: Firefighters from Chard helped a man who became stuck in a bramble filled ditch
A MAN found himself in a rather sticky situation and had to be freed by firefighters after he became stuck in a bramble filled ditch in Chard.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were called at 7.03pm yesterday to Glynswood in Chard to assist the man.
One fire crew from Chard was sent out to assist police in rescuing the man.
Fire crews used small tools and a salvage sheet.
The man was then given first aid treatment until the arrival of the ambulance service.
