EVERY weekend in February will see a fabulous display of snowdrops in Forde Abbey’s beautiful gardens in Chard.
Most of the snowdrops at Forde Abbey are the “common” snowdrop Galanthus nivalis, including the double form G.nivalis flore pleno. But galanthophiles (enthusiasts) will be able to spot other varieties in hidden corners such as G. atkinsii in the Rock Garden.
The gardens are open every day throughout the year from 10am. Last admission is at 4.30pm and the gardens close at 5.30pm.
The reduced winter admission rate applies. For further information visit fordeabbey.co.uk.
