FIRE: Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said it believes that a fire on Brutton Way in Chard was started deliberately
A SUSPECTED deliberate fire in Chard has destroyed two large bales of hay.
Two fire engines from Chard were sent to Brutton Way to reports of a fire at 4.46pm.
A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: "The crews dealt with two large bales of hay which were destroyed by fire.
"The crews used one hosereel and drag forks to extinguish, the cause is believed to be deliberate."
