TRAPPED: Fire crews were called to a woman trapped in a bathroom at a care home on Hellier's Close in Chard
AN ELDERLY woman was locked in a bathroom at a Chard nursing home.
The fire service was called around 3pm yesterday to a nursing home on Hellier's Close.
One crew from Chard attended and confirmed she was trapped within the bathroom.
They got to work using small tools to release the woman.
Around 15 minutes later the female was released, and left in the care of on-site care workers.
