Crews called to kitchen fire in Chard
A KITCHEN fire in Chard saw three fire engines called out this afternoon.
The crews were called to the fire in Glanvill Avenue, Chard at shortly before 1pm today (August 8).
When the fire engines arrived, the crews confirmed that the fire was already out and got to work clearing the property of smoke.
The cause of the fire was accidental and there was fire damage to the cooker and frying pan.
