Chard set for town's final Playday event of the summer
THE FINAL Chard Playdays event of the year is being held this week.
The free fun event is being held on August 5 from 10 am until 12 in the Young People’s Centre, Essex Close, and from 1.30pm to 3.30pm at Jocelyn Park.
There will be a range of activities on offer, including water wars, a bouncy castle, crazy golf, penalty shootout, and the ALS Mega Mix.
As well as those activities, there will also be a sizzling summer barbecue from 12.30pm until 1.30pm.
