THERE are three places outside the rush hour and TTL’s where it regularly takes me 10 minutes and four sequence changes to clear a traffic light controlled junction.
Central London, Central Bristol and Central Chard. Chard is becoming more gridlocked and like an inner city location by the day yet we see no investment in transport management.
Drive to Taunton or Yeovil and there seem to be constant road improvement schemes on the go. So a message to Chard’s elected representatives, get some investment, we are, after all, council tax payers as well! For too long Chard has been the poor relation to the rest of the county.
Steven Robinson, Chard
