CLUBS: Chard and Ilminster Somerset Wildlife Groups celebrate fundraising success
MAY is the month of fundraising by the Ilminster/Chard group of SWT.
The Wednesday Coffee morning hosted by Chaffcombe raised an excellent £182 and was followed by the Bluebell Walk in glorious weather.
We were not so fortunate with the weather on the damp, windy Saturday morning when the Plant Sale was held in the Market Hall in Ilminster.
Nevertheless, more than £600 was raised. The group wish to thank everyone who helped to run these events and supported the fundraising in so many ways.
The added bonus to both events was the chance to meet and socialise.
