STRUTTING THEIR STUFF: Chard folk dance club members at their recent meeting
OWING to the illness of the published musicians, Jeroka were the surprise accompanists for the recent meeting of the club.
Aileen Wills was the caller, and she started, appropriately, with a dance called Spring Fever.
In fact, the members showed how good they were at learning a lot of new dances, as only two or three were previously known to those present.
The next meeting of the club will be on Thursday, April 28, when the musicians will again be Jeroka, and the callers will be Mary and Robert Blackborow.
New members are always welcome.
