TWO fire engines from Chard were called to a suspected arson attack.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service was called to the incident in a field off the A303 in Marsh shortly after 7.37am following reports of a caravan being well alight.
Upon arrival crews got to work using compressed air foam and drag forks to extinguish the fire.
Initial investigations showed that the fire was caused deliberately.
The caravan was completely destroyed in the fire.
