A MAN was treated by firefighters for smoke inhalation after a tumble dryer caught fire.
Crews from the Devon and Somerset Fire Service (DSFS) were called to an incident on Rhydderch Way in Crewkerne at around 1pm.
The three crews from Crewkerne, Chard and Yeovil attended the incident, and found that the fire in the tumble dryer had been extinguished prior to their arrival.
Firefighters gave oxygen to one man who was suffering from smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
