CHARD Town Council has started receiving bids for the exclusive franchise to operate the bar at the Guildhall for a two-year period.
The bar is open for events such as the annual pantomime, local dance groups and private party hiring.
The franchise will run from March 1, 2016, through to February 28, 2018.
Bids will need to show the price for the whole of the two year period of the franchise and evidence of suitability and qualifications of the bidder to run the bar.
Applicants should request an information pack from the Guildhall or contact Chard Town Council on 01460-239567 for further information.
Sealed bids marked Guildhall Bar need to be submitted by noon on Monday, February 1, 2016, to the Town Clerk at Chard Town Council, Fore Street, Chard TA20 1PP.
