Enjoy the nice weather while you can as Monday looks set to usher in a downpour.

After going since Friday without any rain, next week is set to start with a day full of light to heavy rain.

For today, the Met Office forecast said: "Any localised mist or low cloud will soon clear leaving a dry day with some patchy cloud and plenty of sunshine. By the afternoon it will feel warm in the sunshine and the brisk easterly winds will gradually ease too.

The maximum temperature will be 19°C, which is set to drop to a minimum of 5°C overnight.

In tomorrow's South West summary, it said: "Mist and fog slowly clearing through the morning to leave a dry and sunny day for most. Feeling warm in the sunshine for the time of year."

The temperature is again set to peak at around 19°C.

As for the rest of the week leading into Monday, the Met Office have said: "Fine with sunny spells by day followed by chilly nights and patchy fog this weekend. Turning unsettled from the southwest by Monday with wetter and windier conditions reaching all parts."
