THE new Year Seven students at Holyrood Academy in Chard have worked together to raise funds for Save the Children by holding a cake sale.
They raised an impressive sum of £221.40 by selling home-baked cakes to students and staff.
Head of Year Seven, Jason Swarbrick, said: “The students worked really hard together on this project and had a lot of fun raising the money. I was very proud of their efforts.”
