THERE is not a rain drop in sight for Chard and Ilminster over the next five days with there being very little chance of rain through to Friday.

In the Met Office forecast for South West, it said: "After a cool start to the day any mist or low cloud will soon clear. This will leave a dry, breezy, day with patchy cloud and some sunshine. Pleasantly warm inland, although feeling cooler in the breeze around the coast.

"It'll stay dry and breezy with patchy cloud and clear spells This will lead to another cool night, especially in rural spots and mist or patchy low cloud may develop.

The maximum temperature is set to reach around 18°C in the day before dropping to a minimum of 6°C overnight.

In the South West summary for tomorrow, Met Office have said: "Any mist or low cloud will clear to leave a dry, breezy day with patchy cloud and sunny spells. Away from the coast it will warm in the sunshine."

The maximum temperature is due to rise to 19°C.

As for the rest of the week the weather will remain settled. There are set to be dry, breezy days with patchy cloud and sunny spells.
